FAQ

Find answers fast. Use search or filter by category.

What exactly does UnHideElements do?
UnHideElements finds elements explicitly hidden using Hide Element in supported Revit views, then displays them in a clean hierarchy (Category → Family → Element) so you can unhide precisely and verify quickly.
How do I use it in the fastest way?
Run the add-in → pick a view from the list → browse the tree → check what you want → unhide. All changes are Undo-safe (Ctrl+Z).
Does it unhide elements hidden by filters or view templates?
Not directly. UnHideElements targets elements hidden explicitly via Hide Element. If an element is hidden by a view template, category visibility, filters, worksets, phases, or scope boxes, you must adjust those settings in Revit.
Is this a subscription or a one-time purchase?
It is a subscription. Starter and Standard are self-service (documentation + tutorials). Enterprise includes human support and virtual training.
How many devices are included?
Starter includes 1 device activation. Standard includes 2 device activations. Enterprise scales per seat (minimum 5 seats). Manage activations in your portal (activate / deactivate).
Do you offer refunds?
Refunds are handled under our policy. Please review: Refund policy and EULA.
Which Revit versions are supported?
Two installers are provided:
  • Revit 2019–2024
  • Revit 2025–2026
These are the currently available versions for UnHideElements.
Which view types are supported?
Graphical views such as plans, sections, elevations and 3D views. Schedules and sheets are not supported.
I opened a view but the list is empty. Why?
Most common reasons:
  • Elements are not explicitly hidden (they are hidden by filters/templates/categories)
  • Temporary Hide/Isolate is enabled
  • Elements belong to a group or are in a linked model
Does it slow down large projects?
The add-in is optimized for view-based scanning. If your project is extremely large, start by selecting only the views you need and avoid unsupported view types.
The “DiFlow” tab doesn’t appear in Revit
Check installation and Add-in Manager:
  • Verify the correct Revit version installer
  • Check errors in Manage → Add-in Manager
  • If installed via Autodesk App Store, it should appear under Add-Ins
